Greetings!

 

Welcome to World Martial Arts. My name is Peter Malik, the owner and lead instructor of World Martial Arts. We are a member of the Ernie Reyes WCWMA Association.  Our curriculum is a modern blend of several martial art styles to try and create well rounded martial artists who can adapt to any style of martial arts.  WMA's highly qualified instructors are dedicated to teaching a martial arts style focused on application in a fun and safe environment. 

 

A little bit about me, I'm currently a 7th Degree Black Belt and lead instructor of the West Coast Palo Alto school.

 

My experience in martial arts began when I was 12 years old. I admired the dedication and discipline of the blackbelts in my school and aspired to be like them. Over the years I have gained a vast amount of experience with martial arts in and out of the country. This includes being a member of the Ernie Reyes West Coast World Action Team for 6 years where I performed at international venues with the group European Budo Magazine hails as, "the best martial arts demonstration team in the world, best known for groundbreaking gravity-defying trick kicking and spectacular, high-octane martial arts entertainment".

 

I have a passion for teaching, and consider myself to be an enthusiastic, creative instructor who motivates and pushes students to fulfill their highest potential. My wide spectrum of martial arts experience and connection with people contribute to an excellent learning environment. I truly believe that nothing is as satisfying as knowing that you had something to do with raising a person’s confidence and fitness level – basically helping improve their quality of life.
